Proabably thought better put on a show before Ray hibernates ..

I think he's already gone into his hole Bonkers. He'll miss all of the winter flowers as he won't appear until at least May.

Ha dont be so sure Toto....or you Bonkers......Im sure i Shall surprise you at some point during the dark winter months.......Dawn, it does have a very slight frangrance, but not enough that you would notice it.....

Mine are in flower, as well, Milky - have been for a while! I had a surprise when I saw the first flowers opening, too.

They are such lovely plants, aren't they! :-))))

4 Nov, 2009

Certainly are Spritz....So bright on a gloomy day.....

4 Nov, 2009

Are they hardy?

4 Nov, 2009

YES!! Completely, Dawn... I suppose if there happened to be a frost when the flowers were out, they'd wilt after they were frosted, though. Wouldn't you say so, Milky?

4 Nov, 2009

Thanks Sprtiz - wonderful but oh no, another plant goes on the Wishlist. I have the pink, summer flowering one, as does Milky but not the Winter one.

4 Nov, 2009

These don't behave the same as the other Jasmines, Dawn - they're not climbers, more scarmbling, and you need to tie the shoots onto a trellis or wires. I've seen them clipped hard to make a hedge, too!

4 Nov, 2009

Oh right, thanks Spritz. How long do they flower? Sound like another 'must have' for this time of year.

4 Nov, 2009

Definately is Dawn........They normally flower through the winter months quite well, normally early new year onwards, but very early this year...

4 Nov, 2009

Just what's needed then for the Winter months, thanks Maureen

15 Nov, 2009

If you're like me you'll take it anytime we can get it , and usually the sooner the better..., I'm not very patient in my old age...lol

15 Nov, 2009

Ha ha ha .....Now thats just what Ray says about me Flcrazy...... :>).

16 Nov, 2009
