eggbox, only worried about the carrot seedlings, but they are supposed to be hardy. nothing else in veg patch apart from garlics and they have been growing since last oct.

Lovely photo, looks like it came straight out of a magazine.! Your sunroom is to die for..! I'd love to have one, I think I would live in it all winter long with a jungle of tropicals to get me through the winter.

to mikec,flcrazy &jacque....thanks for the comments..it's taken 6 years of hard work to get to this stage, still some more work required in the garden, but thats a pleasure. we have heating in the conservatory and use it as an extension from the lounge, only in the coldest weather will we close it off, or light the wood burner in which case we can still sit outside.installed garden uplighters last year so at night various shrubs and features are lit up, also got an electric heater which fixes under the table parassol , so in summer we can sit outside till late.

Steve; check the latest uploads of winter 2008. I just turned my fingers into popsycles. I had to stop as my digicam froze up truly -24c wind chill -30c.
