Fantastic colours! I put out some new bird feeders on Saturday morning, then waited patiently in the conservatory, not moving a muscle - not one birdie came to visit! I could hear them singing in the trees and I was willing the blackbirds to pop into the garden - but no! The birds visits have definately reduced since neighbour chopped a lovely tree down]- all because he didn't want to sweep up the leaves! Now the birdies don't have many perches to rest on while they survey the menu below.

ah GF thats a shame but im sure they will soon realise that there is food in your garden, wont be long before they start visiting again

Hope they come and visit soon. We used to have a lovely robin, he was quite 'tame' I think. When hubby was putting up a new fence, Roger Robin sat on the spade handle for ages watching him at close range. We've not seen him for quite a while now.
