Anemone blanda "atrocaerulea"

david

By David

Anemone blanda "atrocaerulea" (Anemone blanda (Anemone))

The previous occupant of my house left a stylish black, square, ceramic planter in the front garden, which has produced this stunning display. A cheerful "Welcome Home" every day!

These little anenomes have such a vibrant colour that they just shine through don't they. SOmeone further down the road has them growing right the way along the front underneath their hedge and they do look lovely.

Oh i saw some of these in our garden centre but hubby was biting at the bit to go so i didn't get any :( (he is NOT a gardener) am hoping to go back and get some though thought they would look good in the woodland part of garden.

Hope you got back to get some of these, Sewingkilla. Violet Beauregard is the name you're looking for. Yes, we have real blueberry bushes here in our garden, of course, lol!

Not at all, Tt! In fact, i do believe that, in another container, I may, at last, get to have my favourite flower - Snakeshead Fritillary. This would be the best thing anyone could have left behind for me.
