Paul, we had a row of these in our other garden when we lived down the road and people used to stop and sniff the perfume. It was wonderful. The roses are strong and flower well if you prune the old flower heads off. Lovely photo.

Excellent photo. I planted a small circular bed of Arthur Bell (7 plants) in my front garden back in 1974 and only recently dug it up because of susceptibility to blackspot.

I loved the way the sweetly scented flowers faded so gracefully from deep golden yellow to creamy white. It remains my favourite yellow floribunda.
