Thanks for all the wows :o), its a herbaceous plant, it has been growing near my wall for about 10 years a sheltered spot but this winter was about -15c so it must be pretty hardy, needs a bit of staking to keep it upright (best not in windy spot). It has yellow pea like flowers in the autumn, I will post a pic of last years flowers later tonight if I can find one. :o)
