And still no sign of a flower on mine :-(

But on the plus side, I've just cut six spent flowering spikes off my yucca (that's ten this year now) - it's never had more than three before. And it's still trying to throw up another one

Shame you've had no flowers Amy, do you usually get many or is yours a young plant?
Motinot, mine has been down to -15 without any mulch protection so its pretty hardy. :o)

My plant is approx 9 years old Ph and yes it does usually have flowers , I wonder how long a life they have ?

Amy mine is about 12 years old, I see no reason why they shouldn,t go on and on mine gets a bit larger each year. I rooted some from cuttings earlier in the year hopfully they will come up in the spring :o)

That's good news Ph there's no reason to assume mine is getting old then ! I didn't think about trying to take cuttings I'll have a go next year , when did you take yours ? Sept !

I think it was may/june time, I lost some but 2 look ok we will see in the spring. The soft ones from the top died the ones from further down rooted better.
