Thanks Kathy ,I'm pleased at how well they have germinated , I set the seeds in March they have grown this much since then , I wasn't sure how to treat them ,the seeds were encased in bright orange skins about 3 seeds inside each one .. I seperate them from the skin then as they were very hard I decided to soak them overnight ,it must have done the trick because it worked :o))

Brilliant Amy, can't wait to see how they progress, I'll remember your advice and might try some myself, always encouraging when you see someone who's actually grown them, Tommymoo sent me some ricinus seed this year, always loved them but thought they were hard to get going from seed, they were soooo easy every seed germinated, soo satisfying growing from seed :-)))
