That is beautiful Klahanie.
Brian, hope you remember - such a shame to have beauties such as these damaged by slugs!

We had very dry summer so no slug Bjs. I do find a little slug damage but not anything to cry about and I agree with Scottish....very sad to lose beautiful plants to slugs (or deer in my case)

I must admit I do not know this plant and it is very nice. Is it something like Anemone, Klahanie? Its stems remind me of Anemone.

The stems are anemone Katarina. (good eye) These colchicums are mixed with anemones in this spot. The plant itself is something like fall crocus. They are several kinds of them and this one is generally called waterlily.

I see...And does that mean they are as high as Anemones?

My second batch of anemone flowers came out very short, Katarina. I cut the tall ones to the ground as deer chewed them up. These colchicum are about 8-10".

Love them but that particular one with me is always badly damaged by slugs ,if I could remember it might make sense to move it.
