What a strange name for an attractive plant!

It's a real mixture, isn't it! The leaves are dark, too, to 'show off' the flowers.

When should I do that?

I start taking them from non flowering shoots mid summer and even as late as september. the early ones get to a decent size before winter and stand a better chance in the greenhouse.

Thanks - their long-flowering time is always very useful, too!
