The most well-known Erysimum. It flowers all year from now until late autumn.

I've gone bit mad on Erysimums this year - I ordered a set of 3 x 3 different ones from the RHS, and I've got two more on the way by mail order. That's apart from the ones already in the garden. ;-O
When they all flower, I'll write a blog on this very useful plant.

:) Will look forward to that blog.

I have noted that, Shirley...definitely want to attract flutterbies :)

:-) Hope you enjoy it!

Oh, you'll like it. Keep deadheading to the joint where the flower stem grows, and that'll keep it flowering.

I received my GW magazine today ... there is a BOGOF offer for this plant in it. : o ))

How funny! Are you going to get them?
23 Mar, 2011
Of course, Spritz! I recently subscribed to the offer of 12 copies for £20, and was surprised to see it's a 'Special Subscriber edition'. The offers include Penstemon, Verbena, Dahlia, Double hardy Geraniums plus 10% discount on some mail order suppliers and I haven't even read through the whole magazine yet! Oh dear, it's all going to be so tempting. : o ))

Oh dear - I hope your pocket money will stretch far enough! ;-)

**** Another senior moment last night, Spritz! I had my Gardening Club letter & vouchers in the post, as well as GW magazine and the Bowles Mauve is NOT in the mag. ... it's in the GC Gardening Club pamphlet! So, apologies for any confusion if members are thumbing through the GW mag for that offer ... lol! ****

Oh yes, I saw that - pity I don't need any more 'Bowles' Mauve'! :-(

I love the Erysimum's lovely perfume and long flowering period!
