I wont be putting any money down thats for sure.......we put some in the flower border and kept some (thank goodness) in pots, something promptly ate the heads off the ones in the border......amazing, taken all winter to grow and snap!!

How dispiriting - and what a good job you DID pot some. I just had a look to see what ate them specifying UK and the very first suggestion was 'grizzly bears'. I've just about stopped laughing and the next suggestions was 'bambi' so I guess deer could be the culprits.

Not in our garden, further up the road deer are a pain.....

Are you walled in like Fort Knox? I thought they could jump over any fences!

We are not open at the back of our garden, several houses and a road stand between us whereas the neighbours are backing on to some open ground........we have enough trouble with the fox and the badger without blooming deer!!! oh and pooing cats and pigeons, dont you just love wildlife? all I ask for is a few frogs and toads and smallish birds and butterflies etc !!!

What, no Red Kites? I wouldn't be without them!!!

Of course the Red Kites would be the icing on the cake, saw a sparrow hawk yesterday looking for its dinner......

Give it ten years and they'll be countrywide I should think - they're spreading very fast. We put dinner out for them sometimes.
