It's a pale one - I prefer this to the very bright yellow ones.

very nice, i have the bright yellow one, that is just in flower, to be honest i do agree this is much nicer, mine was here when we moved. i have also seen advertised a white one, never seen it growing though, i bet that would be nice too.

The white one you will have seen is Abeliophyllum distichum. Andrew has one - I put one in in 2007 and it is not happy since the frost. It needs a sunny, sheltered place. It is pretty, though!

Well, I think so! They can 'clash' with other more delicate shades and overwhelm their neighbours...

Very gentle delicate flower.......Mum has a similar Forsythia which is a weeping type....very old.
