Stood on the steps to pull the flowerhead into view for this closeup. In a pot in the cool conservatory.

I am waiting patiently for our other one to open, it is still outside......I hope it will be orange, lovely perfume from them?

I didn't know they were perfumed, but I was up the kitchen steps.

It has opened, bigger than the last one, but I fear they are both the same, which means I gave away my white and my pink hey ho!!

Oh, that's a shame, but don't give up hope. When plants of the same species are not in flower the leaves tend to look the same. Thought I had given away my v v pale pink Hesperanthus, but it flowered a lot later than the other colours and there are now 3 good clumps flowering.
