It's in flower now. My shrub is still small, but it does produce these wonderful flowers.

Mine is only just showing a tiny bit of colour on the buds! Love this.

The shrub is now 5 years old, Wagger, but still only about 3' tall. I wish it would grow a bit faster! I do love these shrubs...I planted one with double white flowers last year. It has a few buds, not many, this year.

wow,it must be too cold there for them because mine flower for months!!! They grow very fast here, I cut mine back every spring to keep them to about 5'...can't do it in the fall because of all the flowers.

You're lucky... and we'd all like a bit of sun here...it's gone away and hasn't been around for a while. :-((

I love this (surprise surprise, it's blue!) but we don't have a long enough summer for it here. I remember seeing these flowering in the Dordogne one very wet July, they are stunning there!

They do wait until August to come into flower, Karen...but all the more welcome when they open. Shame you can't grow them up there.

I did try twice, but they didn't flower until Sept. and the leaves were always pale and poor.

That's a pity - but you can and do grow other beautiful plants!
