neighbours horrid fence will be covered soon, for this year anyway.

i use a golden hop in a similiar situation, it really brightens up the fence

A lot more of the fence is covered with hedera colchica sulphur heart - this is quite near the kitchen window so don't want anything that would block the light - I just look the other way across the pond.

I love the name of this plant - reminds me of something out of Charlie and the Chocolate factory but I don't know why!?
