This is a new one to me ... does it change to green in the spring / summer ..?

You're lucky with your milder climate - I wouldn't dare risk this and it's so lovely - and compact. :-(((

If Andrew grows it, I reckon I should be able to, don't you? I'm hoping, anyway. :-))

Is this small enough to go at the front of a border Spritz?

13 Feb, 2010

You'd have to ask Andrew - but all that I've read says it reaches 3' high by max. 5' spread. That's why I'm hesitating in planting it! I don't want the thuggish Jap. Anemones to swamp it. I'm watching for the new ones to come through, take action, then plant!

Thanks Spritz. Definitely too big for my border then.

Shame - I love it!

I'll see if I can squeeze one in somewhere.

Want to borrow my shoehorn? LOL

Thanks for the offer but my crowbar will suffice.

13 Feb, 2010

Ooops! Sorry - the shoehorn is kept for the smaller plants. Yes - crowbars are good, too. ;-O
