Yes, the flowers smell like coconut-vanilla. It's very famous for its fragrance, this is the reason why it's so common.

I really though this vine grow there in Corfu. Also, I though you knew it had a coconut-vanilla scent to the flowers. To me: the flowers smell like coconut cream pie.

The flowers are so sweetly scented, you almost want to eat the flowers. lol! :>)

It can grow in a pot. Although, it's an extremely fast growing vine. One of the fastest growing vines in the world, in fact.

They can be grown in a pot. They can stay pretty small and grow very slowly in a pot. In the ground they can grow 3ft/1m a day.
