Loves shade...not a tall plant.

Thanks - it makes a change to have one without the spots! :-)

Spots or not, these are fast becoming an obsession for me.
This is really lovely.

Glad you like it. The other one near it might flower - or might not. I think it's been munched!

very delicate flower, pretty

Slimey s*ds! I had to stand my babies in the middle of a huge "saucer" full of water to keep them from being destroyed!
I got a plainer one today (photos up later) in the sale. The bug has bit!!

Good thinking - my spotty one has two buds left...fingers crossed...is your new one like this??

Mines a lilac coloured one, much less spotted than the "norm". I just put a photo up.

Thank you - I really prefer it to the... shall we say...more 'gaudy' ones! :-))

This is nice ! I only have the pale mauve formosana ,it has been under some holly trees for the last two years and hasn't flowered at all , I think I will move it to see if it makes a difference !

My two are in dappled shade - they get a bit of light....don't know if that helps?

How about this for a gaudy one though........

Hey, each to their own!
It's good that we all have our own tastes so that sites such as this can open our eyes up to new things.
I have a new pet dislike this year - the PINK perennial Lobelias that are showing up everywhere!!
31 Aug, 2010
I wonder if that's what I was sold with a label telling me that it was a Campanula ochroleuca, Meanie? lol. (I'm getting my money back!)
The other Tricytis I have is called 'Pink Freckles'....hmmmm....
31 Aug, 2010
Have you got a photo of your lovely new "Campanula"?
I saw one of these pink Lobelias yesterday called Salmon something or another! Much as I love my perennial Lobelias, not one of those is entering my garden. Sue is threatening to buy me one! If she does it'll be straight in the bin.

I posted it as a question last week - I wasn't sure what it was at the time.

I love these tricyrtis....I've planted a few this year and the first one is flowering today! I think I may be starting another 'collection'!! This one is a stunner and yes, nice to see a pure white one without the spots!
