Bright pansy

Bright pansy (Viola wittrockiana)

I haven't had this colour in a pot before - I'm not too sure about it with my 'Little Red Robin' plant.

Nice........

Slugs? Never heard of them...lol. It's actually birds that peck my brighter violas and pansies....I don't think the snails do.

I'm glad you like it, Milky. :-)

Really pretty, but it looks like a tough color to harmonize. I would combine it with bronze and orange snapdragons, but I would be surprised if those were winter flowers in your area!

You're so right, Tug, although I do have snapdragons still flowering away in the garden - not for much longer, though. :-((

Thanks for understanding my doubts about the colour - I'll have to take a photo of the whole container. I 'think' it's OK with the Photinia leaves, but I'm not 100% happy with the combination.

Well - I did see them at an independent Nursery, so you might still be lucky.

My goodness! That must be a HUGE place - what fun. :-)

A lovely rich colour, like to see it in the pot with the Little Red Robins?

OK, I'll have a go at taking a photo of the whole pot.
