Tomatoes are up

The first of my tomatoes have now germinated in the heated propagator
They are part of the “mixed” cherry packet from Lidl, so variety could be any of three, as they have both come up at same time I’m assuming for the moment they are the same variety
Off to Wilsey tomorrow, weather improving hopefully, I’m told the crocus are bash you in the eyes lovely

Personally, I welcome our new triffid tomato overlords 😄
Still to get any cherry toms in, are the Lidl ones good varieties?

Sounds like a good buy - more than I can use in an ordinary packet.
How nice to live near Wisley - have a good day!

Thanks, Wisley completed, as good as ever.
Lidl cherry toms mixed, packet contains50% Supersweet 100, 25% Sungold and 25% Apresa
Being mixed you've no idea what ones they are until they fruit
The only variety I've tried before is Sungold and I like them

Thanks, sounds just right for me in my tiny garden.
Maybe I can jam more in if I build something to stack pots on or find a way to attach them to the fences

I haven't started mine off yet, however I've bought seeds from Lidl's many times over the years with good results..I'm cheating this year though as I'm starting with seed I collected from last years crops, will sow them soon though, if they don't work it still gives me time to sow fresh seeds.......

Just my thoughts, Linclass, so far I think there are a couple of duds, but maybe a bit early to judge, I'll give them until the weekend before trying some more

that's a good sight, but on past experiences that doesn't mean they are the same variety. It could be due to some just closer to the surface etc.
it will be fun to find out though.
