Chelsea Flower show, 2023

Although I can no longer attend Chelsea, due to my health, I am very pleased & proud to say my Granddaughter, Charlotte, is hopefully getting a lifelong addiction to all things green

She is currently finishing her two-year Horticultural course at Sparsholt Agricultural college, near Winchester, and because she has excelled she is on the team for this year’s Chelsea and had spent the last few months helping design & build the exhibit for the show

Today is judging day, as well as Royal & press day. For those able to watch, she has been interviewed & this is scheduled to be on BBC South tonight [Monday 22 May]

Grandad, I think you must be disappointed with BBC South as they only featured an interview with a Professor from the College! What a shame ... :o(

Thanks everyone, update today, although her interview seems to have ended up on the cutting room floor I'm told there is another sometime midweek, with the "Eat well for less" team at Chelsea

However, even better news, they won a Gold Medal. Charlotte, pictured, is my granddaughter :-)
