At last I have got around to potting up the plant cuttings that Hilda gave me last Friday, as I am always away at my daughters from Sunday til Tuesday, I have to cram the rest of my week into the other four days!! I popped out early this morning to buy more pots, yes I thought I had enough, but no, I didnt, so off to the garden centre where we wanted to buy some more meat for the freezer and to buy some lovely fresh vegetables & fruit. The coffee shop is also brilliant so of course we stopped there too! On the way back we popped into B & Q for some compost, another thing I thought we had got enough of, and then on to Tesco to do the weeks shopping, busy morning but as the sun is out it is bright and cheerful but very cold! :~)

Here we are, got everything ready.

The sun is shining for a change but it is very cold outside. Thats why I am working inside!

Plant number one!

The first three.

The whole group.

Their new home, my landing window sill!
I still have six packets of seeds to investigate, mostly Chillies, which I will set as soon as I can. So these plants have travelled all around the EU by train. I hope they survive in my hands.Lol. Thanks so much Hilda.

and finally Dottyd. recommended that I put grit on top of the pots, so job done! Thanks Dotty.

I actually love Wednesdays Yorks. because after shopping my hubbie goes out to his model engineering club and I have the afternoon to myself, so I had a plan in mind this morning to get everything, then I could pot up in the kitchen on my own! Funny Bloomer, my shelf being the right size, Lol, cannot even squeeze another on there can i ? Lulu, they have got flowers in Hilda's photos but think i might have to wait a while til I get some! Thanks all and Helen thank you for your compliment. :~)

GM, your succulents look right at home on your landing...I bet when they do mature and flower they will be a very pretty sight.

We made a trip to B&Q today as well for a few garden necessities (various soils, planting pots and masonry paint for the concrete fencing....bring on the sunshine so we can get busy). Great to be able to get our gardens underway :)

GM most of your plants are succulents, they can be put outside in the summer, you might want to put some grit around them (only the succulents) they look so healthy, lucky you.

Thank you Dd, I was wondering if I should do that! I will let the soil settle and top it up then put grit on, great tip, thanks. Do they need much water Dd?

Such a kind lady San. and thanks for the compliment too!

GM they do not need a lot of water, I let ours dry out completely before I water them, and I use rainwater.
