You may need hiking boots to walk round my garden!

If only! I will start off with my front garden. First boob! this is the bottom of my back garden!
Can I say so far so good?
As you can see not much at the moment all the early Summer flowers have finished which I have cut back. The Delphuiums, one deep blue and the other white have been beautiful as have the Oriental poppies.I also had Cranesbill Geranium growing in large clumps.
Our front path leading to porch which had the Clematis growing in profusion over it. So sorry not to include names, I know it matters to a lot of people but I have enough difficulty with peoples names.
This is the view from dining room window. The pond fenced round because of grandchildren.
Now another 6 steps and we reach the bottom which ends in a ‘V’ shape only enough room for my compost bins.
I grow annuals in pots along my neighbours fence but John made a trellis afair so they are not fastened directly onto the fence.
These pots are at the back side of pond.
That’s all for now folks!

How kind you all are to pass on such great compliments. I was terrified of making a complete mess of my first multi picture blog. I am now getting so big headed that I fear I will soon be unable to get through the door!
Ian sorry friend but I have tipped garden on it's edge to give the fish a break from their rock climbing so unable to accept your help in this instance LOL

I love all the colour in your garden! So what it's not huge? It's what you do with it that matters!
This afternoon, we went to a village with open gardens. There were 10 open, and we got to 9 of them. I have to say that one or two HUGE ones were very, very boring, with no colour in them to speak of... I think the almost smallest one round a tiny bungalow was the prettiest and most loved and cared for garden!

Definately not Geordies but my son in law is and I give him hell and he loves it. I have always called him the alien and even bought him his own mug with alien speak on it. Bless him though to be serious just for a minute he has just come out of the army and has been to all the nasty places we read about in the news every day. Love him to bits! He is a very brave young man, but so pleased my daugher and the rest of us can sleep without worry now.

He's a hero then Sue. All our brave boys and girls who are out there defending our freedom deserve every respect (and a £50,000 pension) Give him my regards and tell him thank you from me!!! :~))

Sue ~ This is a very pretty garden !
I like especially the planting ideas such as the trellis in front of the fencing (well done John) and the tyres.
Interesting blog..:o)
