We’ve had so many days of rain, the garden is looking extremely sad, the grass has grown at an amazing rate, slugs are running riot on everything, the hanging baskets look like it’s the end of September. :((((((( I’m so fed up, is it ever going to dry up

I managed to get the grass cut too and even watered a few pots yesterday evening but needn't have bothered as it rained again overnight and this afternoon. Oh well at least the grass is green now :o)

It's still coming down here, heavy and frequent! Just tried to dead head some plants in between the showers. Have lost most of my summer bedding to the weather :-( It was beginning to look so good too...

Same here Grindle !
We've had a lot of rain overnihgt and indeed is still very heavy now.
Todays forecast for here (and possibly you) is for more of the same.
The slugs and snails that you have have sent their relatives up here and they're trying to feast on all they come across :((
The grass .... i've been wanting to cut it for days now and as soon as there's a few hours of dry i'll whip out the mower !!!
Hey Ho ...... :-/
