Catching up on favourite programmes!

Hi everyone
Having a lazy morning before doing those last minute Christmas jobs over the next couple of days! As school is finished I am catching up on my favourite gardening programmes that have built up on the planner. Have really enjoyed the ‘How wild is your garden?’ series – have you? I’ve just finished watching the ‘Gardener of the decade’ set near me at Eden and got lots of tips especially about taking cuttings.
I have made a promise to myself to go to some of the courses they run at Eden this coming year especially the ones about veg growing.
Now going to watch last weeks Gardener’s world before doing the boring ironing!

Enjoy the rest of the progs Jo. Can't you leave the ironing till after Christmas ?

Hi TT just read your blogs- thankyou for info! Had a lovely day watching all those gardening progs. Carol Klein is my favourite and I wish she had taken over from Monty. Her 'grow your own veg' book is great and set out in a straight forward way which I hope will help me as a real beginner in the Spring!

Yes, Carol Klein is wonderful. I'm sure the BBC now realise how popular she is, so hopefully more of her shows in 2009 !

Two of my blogs have been keeping members posted on garden and wildlife shows on TV over recent months.
My blogs numbers four and five have comments and details of any shows coming up. There might be something new there for you. e.g. 28th Dec.08.
I agree with you. It's good to get fresh ideas on taking cuttings. Carol Klein always comes up with excellent advice on this, doesn't she!
