My awful hedge

I’m trying to show photos of my awful hedge as someone asked. I was hoping to cut it down to about a 5ft level but am pretty sure it’s impossible, particularly at the right hand end.
With luck there’ll be 3 photos below showing from 1 end to the other. (20. Ft)
I’m pretty sure I’ve failed and if so, will try again.

Snoopdog it looks like the right hand side bush is a hebe. If it is cut back to at least half height and the branches back and front also taken back a bit I would think it might regenerate.

Was poised to start the job this morning but it's pouring with rain. Nice timing ! Buy there's always tomorrow. I can't wait to start the job.
