Greenwood – Holly Town

The town to which my address has been assigned is called Greenwood. It received this name because it was built in the middle of a holly forest. The hollies have been ripped down over the centuries to make room for man to build yet more buildings. But if you look closely as you drive down the roads, at the edges of properties, where the woods start again, you will see the holly still growing as an understorey tree.
My husband and I have been clearing out the weeds that have run rampant all over the back half of our acre, and low and behold hollies are growing! Just babies yet, but with a little pampering, soon to be trees!

Donnah...unfortunately for me, this holly is one found in the town, but not on MY property...all I have are scraggly babies...but they will grow!

Yes they WILL, HW! And bigger and better than you might think, right now! And probably quicker!
