Snow!

Well they have been threatening us with snow off and on for days…it finally came, overnight we have received 12 inches and it is still coming down! We may get up to 24 inches before it is done! Here is what I see out the front door…
(The headlights are not really on, the flash made them look that way!)
Then out back…
(This is the circle garden we were building out back…it never got completely filled with dirt…now the snow has filled it!)

and we measure our snow fall in millimetres because we don't get enough to make much more than an inch! but it can still bring chaos to our travel. It looks lovely HW and great for the kids to play in!

Awful to drive in but if you dont need to go out - it does create a beautiful scene. We ve had 6 inches of snow over night ..more higher across the moors with the sun shining on it ..wonderful.

We normally do not have this much snow all year! we are lucky if a snowfall leaves us with 1/2"....so this is wonderful in its way! lol We are getting ready to go outside (a friends computer needs fixing...so off to the rescue we go) when we get home I will share what we found out there!

There is more photos of that "white stuff from the sky" that I have been hearing about.. What is this phenomenon called? Here in central Texas, we seldom see it. Is it frozen water of some kind? ;-)
