More Snow Pictures!

Well we went out as promised…we spent hours driving around and found some great shots for everyone to share a ride through Sussex Country, Delaware, USA…..
Yona trying to get Mommy on the ground to play
A small thuja we have out back covered in snow
Simba talking about the fun we had!
We saw Icicles everywhere
A tree downed over a creek, covered with snow and acting as a natural bridge
Ducks found the only open water here…all the rest is frozen!
The way the snow held onto the crook of this tree is so cool!
I wonder if anyone will be sitting on that chair today?
This little creek through the woods continued to sing merrily
Remember the icicles I mentioned before…look at these! Holy Cow!
And after dark we saw these Christmas decorations in the snow!
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

This was a beautiful effect though, I understand, unusual. I love when the snow has fallen but the world is still warm beneath it. We're in deep freeze time here now. :-) Thanks for sharing some of these lovely scenes. I like the snow caught in that wonderful fall tree. Would that be oak?
Happy Holidays! :-)

Greenthumb...I couldn't get close enough (exept throught the lense) ...as you can see in the pic it is behind a fence...and my eyes are getting old....sigh

Someone here was mentioning how they cling into the winter to the fall leaves. And it has a similar spread to oak. I like the ideal it fulfills in my mind. :-) The snow and oak.
