I got this circle of slabs as a birthday present so set OH on the task of lifting turf[hard job] and laying it lol with a little “help” from grand-children!!
a helping hand
lets blow bubbles instead
approval from Megan lol
looks a bit like a thistle
taking shape
finished job
moved the statue from another part of the garden to here and it looks at home there
just in time before the Thunder and Lightning

The circle of stone looks made for your garden....what a wonderful present you received, Helen. I am confused about the statue in the middle....were you trying out two different ones? and if so, which one eventually did you choose to keep in the centre of your circle?
Your last photo is beautiful with its rainbow and darkened skies.
