november garden

like lots of others ,my garden is a strange mix of flowering plants this November.
Usually my garden is very bare and fairly colourless by now but not this year.
It is nice to look out and see all the blooms though.
some of the photos below are to be expected at this time of year but there are a few surprises !!!! especially for central Scotland LOL

rose,cosmos,fuschia,lupin,geum,chrysanthemum,begonia,pansy,heuchera,viola,marguerite,campanula,scabious,lavender,iris,michaelmas daisy, etc.

Helen you have still got such a lot going on there you would think it was August not November.

Lovely to see your photo`s Helen especially on a dull day, you have a lot of colour still and as you say some real surprises, its a very cheery sight, thankyou for showing...

Has Scotland moved south? Let me take my binoculars, climb on the tree opposite to have a look.

my garden faces south Costas and is fairly sheltered, also despite what BBC weather tells you!! Scotland does get good weather often, but sometimes temperatures will probably be a few degs less than down South.
if I see the glint of binoculars I will give you a cheery wave LOL

I am glad that you have been watching Beechgrove GM .
Isnt it such a friendly garden programme. It usually runs from April-October ,I,ll let you know when I find out.
Did you watch the one from Spey Bay Dolphin Centre. We visited there last week and saw all their planting which was lovely but unfortunately no dolphins .

thanks everyone for your comments

I am hoping LOL that this year the whole garden will not be under 24inches of snow!!!! [I have got the snow shovels and salt at the ready though ]
