Spring has arrived!

Our neighbor, the walking-talking farmer’s almanac, told my husband that once the pecan tree budded, there would be no more frost ~~ guess we’re frost free now!

So, we’re off on a little stroll around the yard, just to get a peak at what’s out there. It seems that everything is about to bust! The white japonica is still blooming like crazy, the red one – not so much, but blooming. We have the first iris of the season showing off.

While strolling along, I noted what appeared to be smoke coming from over my husband’s shop… just another pine tree with pollen sailing through the air!

So that’s where that stuff on the car comes from…

Looking across the yard, the pear tree presented us with a beautiful bouquet.

and, Mister Bluebird made an appearance, “Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay, Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!” (Disney’s Song of the South)

Oh yeah, resurrection power is in the air! Have a wonderful weekend y’all!
