Your tulips are lovely, Holly. I grew some for the first time this year - they grew about 2 inches high, opened and died within days! I didn't think I planted them too deep so don't know what went wrong. I will put the bulbs in the ground for next year and see what happens!

I'm a fairly recent convert to tulips but they are wonderful and Its great they take over where the daffodils leave off. And i could almost smell those wallflowers - wonder why the old fashioned brown ones smell so much better than the new varieties?

What a lovely selection of plants you have I particularly like your narcissi and tulips - I must grow more tulips next year - my white violas are just coming into flower and so are the bluebells - I thinned them out last year but they don't seem to have been put out by that - enjoy your week - Jane

What a lovely display,Holly..I think tulips seem to be getting more popular each year, and your Wallflowers are a similar colour to mine..such a lovely smell..Mine are getting leggy this year, but I shall take cuttings again,as they are my favourites, and managed to keep them going for a number of years now..I shall look out for the mixed bags of tulips from Wilko's I love your peacock too..a lovely gift :o)
