I thought you might like to see some more photos of my old garden… It was quite small with a wall at the end….. it had a lovely big pond with frogs in….it was north facing so did not get much sun till late afternoon at the back of it….. Where i placed a seat…. As well as the Magnolia tree it had an old pear tree, the bloosom was lovely in the Spring and had loads of pears in the late summer….
This is the magnolia tree in the summer….
This was the right hand side of the garden. The pond was at the back …….
These done really well here… in a sunny spot at the back.
Round the front door………
Path round the side of the house ……….
Love in the mist.. round the side path.
Magnolia tree from the front……….
Seat in the sunniest area…
Pear tree and Blossom.
Shady area at the front……….
Pears on tree……………

Great pictures. I don't grow fruit trees but have always liked the look of pear trees. All those lovely frogs probably meant you didn't have a slug problem in that garden.
