Ooooh, naughty thing!!! What did you do with him? Would it turn into a butterfly? I must admit, I wouldn't know what to do myself, in case it was a moth or butterfly? But then, maybe I'd have put it on a plant I'm happy for it to eat instead?

I put him up the top of the garden by the pond......away from my flowers........hopefully he will turn into a butterfly........

He was a very cunning caterpillar and looks very plump!

I'm glad you spared his / her life. He may come back to visit you as a beautiful butterfly.

Awwww, that was a nice thing to do!! I hope I get lots of butterflies this year. Altho' my new buddlea is a bit on the "small" side, :-(

We had to throw the old buddlea away, as it got too old and leggy and hardly any flowers, when it used to have hundreds. Still, I've lots of other new plants which will hopefully attract the butterflies!

I love the butterflies.. we get a lot of red Admirals down here... i have 3 Buddleas in the garden.....

I found out that nettles attracts loads of varieties of butterflies. I've got some seeds from e-bay (yet again!) which I'll throw down when I've cleared the turf out the way!
