Have you got frost there, Jacque? The water on the bird table was frozen this morning, and the grass was white! The birds will need us all the more, now.

Hi Spritz it was alittle Frosty this Morning on Grass & Car Roofs,Only second Mild Frost iv seen in 2months!! Shouldnt it be colder than that by now? Iv uped the Birds Meals now :)

The birds in my garden are all fed and watered as well Jacque,I love to see our feathered friends. we had our first frost last night - 2.2 degs.

I had to break the Bird Baths Water this Morning Tuls!! i 2 love to see them visit my garden & eat what goodys i put out 4 them :)

Lovely to see your visitors, Jacque. A little bit of frost here this morning but not really icy. I was quite upset yesterday when my usual birds were coming for food and finding my garden under water. I did paddle out and put some food on the tables but some of the ground feeders looked really confused, bless them.

I hate when My Garden gets water logged 2 Gee :( Summer comes indoors with Muddy Paws if i dont make her wait to have her feet wiped 1st :)

Though we have today +8-10 C degrees, it was -7 C degrees in early November. That was very bad for birds!
I see, that you have much more kind of birds than we have, living in the city. And only three kind of them come to our garden. In Winter when sometimes -20-22 many birds fly to our small garden to drink some water and to eat some food. You'll ask, how they can drink water when such a frost. In our pond there is a little fountain left working for the whole Winter, just for birds and for fish. The only place they could drink from.
You are very lucky to have so many bird in your garden!

Great blog and pics Jacque.Minus 4 all morning here but the sudden cold snap has brought all the birds back full time.Have also upped the feeding and trying to make sure none of them go to bed on an empty tum ! Lol

freezing here this morn too,not seen many birds in garden for a few weeks ,dont know why,been putting food out, but saying that we had quite a few today so hopefully there back 4 good,brill bog jaque i adore robins

I had jackdaws and magpies this morning as well as the regulars. I manage to put quite a variety of food out for them.The blackbirds love cat food and the bigger birds go for the food scraps.which gives the smaller birds a chance for the meal worms.The bird bath was all frozen here as well.

Frosty here in Southport this morning, but +2 degrees when I ventured out. But Uma.......-20 degrees !!!!! Brrrrrrr I don't think I'd get out of bed !
