I have this orchid too,and love it.It has just finished flowering since June,but has grown a new stem,so looking forward to more lovely flowers.Its the first time its done that in the 5 years I've had it,as the old stems have never produced more,so I guess,its decided it likes living here.....

I agree with you, Jacque, if a camera isn't used daily, the parts get stiff and stop working :)

What fantastic studies, Jacque. I too have this orchid and it has kept on going for months and come back several times too...just looked at it again and yes - it appears to be sprouting yet another little stem...yippee!
Super pics though....never thought to try anything like that - as I am not much of a camera fiend...just enough to get by..LOL

Thats a beauty Jacque and well worth photographing, is it cool in your landing window ledge?, I`ve treated myself to a new orchid and haven`t yet found it a proper home its too warm in my sitting room and I`d hate to lose it..........

I bought a lemon one the other week and an Orchid with purple blooms jsut a £5 cheapie from Dobbies has nevrlost its blooms and looking great.

The rest are dormant.
