Very good, Jacque. I know there is a large cluster of ladybirds on my camellia shrub. I still have to tidy up my front garden so I shall do it very, very carefully.

Lovely blog Jacque and great pics. You are lucky to have so many in your garden. I don't know where all mine have gone. I hope they are somewhere cozy out of the cold. I remember seeing hundreds clustered together in a crack in a telephone pole one winter.
My leaves and plants have been left until spring and most have an extra layer of mulch too. I wonder if the ladybirds are hiding in the straw around my roses?

If I haven't tidied up by now everything stays as it is.I may move some pots to protect from frost/winds but anything left now fends for itself.I love cutting dead growth off in spring when new green shoots are forming, hopefully by then any wildlife will have started to find alternative food/accomodation :) Thanks Jacque I only get to see my garden at weekends in daylight so lovely to see your ladybirds :))

Brill blog, i'm going in the garden later when i've catched up on here to put a bigger plant pot in pond to keep the fish a bit warmer, got one in put noticed Flip & Flop are abit to big for it there, their bodies are only 1/2 way in. bless them.

I'm a florist Jacque and found a ladybird on some conifer I was using in Holly Wreaths wasn't sure what to do with it i've left in shop on its leaf just now but will it be too warm should I transfer it to the garden?
p.s. also found a wasp buzzing about the artificial flowers a bit slow but still alive! Colleagues are complaining about the shop turning into an insect sanctuary!!
