Well i really thought long and hard before venturing in the garden as i have been slightly under the weather with colds etc,however the rain had ceased and the temperatures had risen slightly so i thought lets go for it.Before i knew it i had been out for 5 hours.Would have stayed out longer however it was getting dark.Iwas totally amazed at how many plants were in bud.I think due to the mild weather alot of plants have survived from last year.I have a Brugmansia and calla lilley in flower i n the conservatory and i have roses out as well as camelia.There is also lots of activity in the wildlife pond.Lots of frogs.I cut alot of shrubs back,cleared away leaves and rotting perennials left over from last year and cut back any climbers,like clematis.5 green bags later i was very tired but a job well done.Ifelt so much better for it,however i think we are in for a cold spell so i might have to protect my Bay and olive trees with some extra fleece.WRAP UP WARM EVERYONE.SPEAK TO YOU SOON XXX
