Summer, is that you?

Enjoying dinner and now a mug of fresh ground coffee out in the sunshine! First time this year :))))) I’m starting to suspect the weather gods read GOY :D and our cry for some sunshine was heard. At last! and I know better than to waste this opportunity. Even went for a walk around bare foot :))))) Sure look, it may be back to ‘the usual’ tomorrow!

Lucky you having sunshine, Its been raining here for 2 days now almost non stop, that would not be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that its become quite a bit colder than it had been, gorgeous sunshine last week with clear blue sky, poor flowers don't know whether to bloom or stay shut up,

Been lovely here, got off to a bad start mind you but come late morning it was lovely to sit in the sun.

Been lovely here today too. Your garden looks very restful - a good place for a barefoot coffee!

we have had a great couple of weeks with plenty of sun :-) so much that the soil was like dust, but yesterday was pouring hard and a fine drizzly day today which is continuing still at 22:37pm.
this evening i did ware flip-flops when i walked around my garden (as its quite mild) but i did have to take umbrella...

We had one lovely day in a week and you have to make the most of it, don't you !

Like you its just a matter of snatching the odd if and when, you have a fine garden to walk round or just sit and admire.

Yes, we have to make the most of our opportunities with the weather. How strong is that coffee, Jagienka?

28 May, 2014

LOL, Tuesdaybear, it's not a very strong one ;) a heaped teaspoon of the ground coffee, but I do not use the cafetière, rather put the coffee directly into the mug and pour boiling water over it. After few minutes the grains settle at the bottom of the mug so I just have to be careful taking the last sip. It could be why on the photo you see a foamy surface and a darker colour.

It's day 3 of the sunny weather and I am wearing shorts today :) It rained for 10-15 minutes yesterday evening, just when I was getting ready to water the plants so the brief rain was most welcome.

You're in shorts? In Ireland? Global warming has gone mad! Which part of Ireland do you live in?
