the garden has revived

After thinking my garden was dying down for winter it has suddenly leapt into life again. Both Dusky Maiden and Mutabilis are looking gorgeous and there are pansies, wallflowers (now?), gerberas, begonias, stocks and nicotianas all blooming madly again.
It must be all the rain we’ve had as they were looking almost finished a few weeks ago. I’ve planted tubs of pansies, wallflowers and bellis daisies on the patio to fill the spaces left by the vegetable ‘appotment’, though I have to say it looks much nicer now that it is clearer. Whilst the veg were flourishing the patio looked beautiful, but once they started to finish cropping it began to look a little messy and sad.
I still have aubergines , peppers and chillies, but I’ve put the aubergines in my potting shed now. It’s a little cold at night for them and as there are still around 12 fruits growing, I don’t want to lose them.
