Heavy thunder, lightning and rain last night. Seed head of Love-in-a-Mist (Nigella damascena), towering over heads of two small poppies.

It was horrendous here yesterday but only one shower today, I like to pop those seedheads, still a kid when it comes to some things.......Lovely photo...

I love these seed heads :o) It looks pretty with rain drops on it, doesn't it :o))
You had thunder ? ! We've hardly had a drop of rain here, even though the forecast was for heavy downpours ...
