Pond

Spent Sunday afternoon digging and levelling the site for my pond. Hard work got a few blisters and I was a bit stiff and achey this morning when I got up. Rain forecast for most of this week so I don,t know when I’ll get back out there. Is it too late in the year to be looking at pond plants?

Although its too late for water lilies etc., I would still put in some oxygenating pond plant, such as Crispa, Canadian pond weed..
You're so right it is very hard work. Looking forward to seeing photos of your progress Jim.

My neighbour runs his own pond maintenance - pond building business. If you need to know anything Jim, I can always bend his ear. Don't forget the photos.

No point buying them now Jim, late next spring would be ideal. It will give you plenty of time to sort out your pond.
