Pond

Hi Everyone
Nearly there. I got these green slate rocks from my garden centre 2 for a fiver and filled in around them with pebbles, it’s looking like a pond now. I’m really pleased with the result. Still not sure what to do with the waterfall can’t decide whether to build up around it with rocks or I was thinking because there’s not much room for any plants I might plant ferns all around the waterfall, hopefully they will grow up and over the waterfall and make it look a bit more natural.

You're nearly there Jim, the pond's looking great. Ferns would look lovely but I'm sure they die down in the winter, maybe someone else can suggest something that doesn't.

i didnt realise either till i started reading all the labels ~ its not obvious which ones are evergreen ~ but they are also good for flower arranging!

Looking better every time Jim, like the rocks. Can't advise on plants , but smaller would look better I think.
