X-mas party at Chateau Bela

This week we had a nice trip and X-mas party to chateau Bela. It is in the southern part of Slovakia, in the place with lot of hot thermal springs and vineyards. Chateau Bela is a renovated fairy medieval castle/manor house. We found it in hills covered with vine and snow. It is decorated and renovated with the taste (and very gooood quisine, my best kapustnica and gulash I ever ate, was here, probably they use ther own mushrooms :)
After arrival followed trip to the close Esztergom in Hungary (just across the bridge over the Danube). And here is the goal of our trip -Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary (her statue is standing on the Moon). It is the tallest building in Hungary and the 18th biggest church in the world.
Some hundreds steps had to be made up the hill. It was heavily snowing.
Pillars were really huge, but the view to the snowy countryside was more charming. It was our first snow.
The huge crypt, built in Old Egyptian style in 1831, is today the resting place of late archbishops. These statues were really huuuge, you can see our little shadows on the bottom.
Some people had easier ascend to the tower…
…and finally fresh air
Inside the cathedral was colder, but lot of light and spirit helping to our team spirit and—-
—-energeting point. While standing in this point somebody started to play on a huge organ and we got a hit between the eyes from acoustic waves…Listening to stereo, hmmmmm
Brrrrr. Cold. Quickly to our bus, get a drink…
…warm up under the X-mas tree…
…dinner…
…candles…
…and passionate dance of E.N., founder of many dance schools …Our dance was far more deteriorating…
…midnight. Where is the bed…
Good night….ups! Hope, I am not too much drunk…
