Quick tour around the garden at the start of July

This year things are running in a different pace. As if everything in the garden did not have enough time. Many of plants bloom earlier, even fruits raped earlier then usual. This week started a big harvest in fields.
Maybe it is this hot weather, maybe something else got wrong. Earth axis for instance. We were taught, that over very long time periods (thousands of years) the direction of Earth’s axis slowly changes due to precession. Not true anymore. Scientists found that axis was changed by earthquake in Chile and then in Japan. So no solid point in this world. And time is relative, as Einstein said. While computers will have problems with milisecond time shifts, sun dials will have no problem and will show proper time, Amy.
So, this is hot summer day again, but still some colours in the garden

Large hostas grow, no problem, as it is dry and snails went underground…

Lavender smell is amazing in a hot summer days.

Some roses have a rest now and I wait for their second bloom. During this time lilies opened their buds in a night.

Shehresade…

Hemerocallis Sweet sugar Candy…

…and unknown Hemerocallis, which I bought in spring sales from the last year. I like it :))) Does somebody help me with its name? I know here are several specialists in lilies and hemerocallis…

My joy (Hortensia, Cortaderia grass and Clematis)

Hortensia corner is quite active now…

And because nature is full of miracles, in spite of a hot spell I found some mushrooms in my garden, too. This was identified as reishi or “mushroom of eternal life” (if somebody is interested), which grows on my plum tree…

…and another one is expecting its identification (it grows on the remnants of a pine tree)…

And that´s all for now. Let´s run to the water….

Thank you, TT. So happy you liked the photos, as majority of them was done recently by my cellular phone. So according to me it is not so high quality as with Canon. But my camera is not working, will have to put it to repair.
Tuesday bear - thank you very much.
