Not just about Noris.

So.
Although it didn´t seem like that at the beginning of April, short spring has finaly arrived.
And summer is just behind the corner, with temperatures reaching 28 Celsius this weekend.
I noticed, that all tulips I planted last autumn, had grown up.
Almost three buckets of weeds, picked from this small area around bushes (Picea alba, Cupressocyparis sempervirens, roses).
Viburnum tinus, which normally has had buds since November, started to bloom only now. Beautiful bush. I love it. And doesn´t demand anything.
William´s pear tree has a lot of flowers now, so thank you my Lord, you programmed your masterpieces equally. For those, who do not understand . this sort of pear tree usually has its first fruits at the age of five.
…old nut tree is still in a wedding mood…
Primula just about to open….
Aubrieta.
And….forgot the name now….sorry…
And lilies, which has got the message from a warm soil, that it is time for show.
To be continued soon…

Very nice Kat, lovely tulips and as Terra says the blue one is Muscari armeniacum the grape hyacinth :-)

Thank you, Slad, yes! It is Muscari armeniacum. I just had a short "window", as we call loss of memory. Fortunately, "window" relates to temporary loss of memory. I remember very well what happened for instance in eighties or some year ago. So far, I am OK. ;-)

Thank you very much, Louisa. I am trying, but it is still too far from my idea.

I like your tulips too, mine aren't quite out yet. And 28 degrees this weekend - lucky you!!

Hi Terra@Thank you very much for the names of flowers. Noticed your comment just now. Geranium@thank you. What is the weather in the UK now? I thought you were 2 weeks ahead of us at the beginning of April. However, I do not like this abrupt summer days after winter. There isn´t any slow transition from winter to spring and THEN to summer.

It's only 10/11 degrees this weekend where I live Kat, with sunshine and showers. Winter seems to be going on much longer than normal this year!

Yes, I know. It will endanger crops, farmers say.

So good to see some colour in the garden it all looks very healthy Kat, and you have warmth.....we have returned to winter, the vest is back!!

Lovely tulips, Katarina - don't you just love them?
It sounds lovely and warm where you are. We took daughter and grandson back to Glasgow after a three-week stay while son-in-law was in Australia. There was snow on the tops in Cumbria and southern Scotland. I was quite surprised to see it there. Spring has definitely sprung, though, and it's lovely to see the plants emerging. I always forget exactly what I've got, so I have lots of lovely surprises at this time of year!

I love Scotland, with its mountains, its music and sheeps. You produce very good wool, by the way. And Sean Connery is Scottish, too, isn´t he? Very sexy man in his best years ;-)
