Autumn amble along to the hairdressers.

I took the opportunity to take some photographs as I walked down to the hairdressers, which is in the ‘village’ and only usually takes about 15 minutes ambling along…
There seem to be quite a lot of autumnal colour to enjoy.
I’m sure people thought I was quite mad – picking up leaves and taking snaps or when I stood in the middle of a colourful pile of fallen foliage getting the right angle!!😄
Never mind, I thought…I enjoyed the walk, the fresh air, the autumn sunshine and the scenery!!!
Arrived right on time…jacket off, ready for some pampering! 💇‍♀️

Very colourful Kate, especially that shrub in the last photo, really autumnal ;D lol ... you had a lovely walk to the hairdresser.

You certainly have an eye for an attractive picture Kate. I enjoyed these a lot. They would be nice in a date - a - day calendar! We don't have much autumn colour here - straight from green to fall off, sometimes with little yellow thrown in!

Thanks kindly, Paul. Yes, it’s a lovely walk to the shop/hairdressers/pub. There’s a chemist/satellite GP surgery and Chinese takeout too.
Little primary school and village hall. It also has some citadel ruins opposite the shop. It’s referred to as a ‘village’ within a city.
The walk along the riverside is equally enjoyable! We’ve had a nice couple of days, thankfully! 😊

That’s very kind of you, Sue. You’ve made me a happy lady this evening! Lovely feedback! I think sometimes the seasons will give more to us in certain areas, whether it be spring or one of the others. Bet you see more colour in spring or summer than I do here. ☺️

Julia, I know, I am just living this acer too. I think the colour is so striking! I did thoroughly enjoy my walk down to have my hair done...it was so relaxing...especially the head massage they do 🥰

Lovely blog Kate, there are some lovely areas of our wonderful adopted city and you are showing them off to perfection. We need a frost to help the colours come out ever stronger.

Very evocative photos, Kate. Looks like you live in a pleasant area. I'm very taken with your jacket; wouldn't mind that myself. It's always good to visit the h'dressers, we come out feeling like new people, especially after a relaxing head massage...

Thank you, Eileen, I appreciate your feedback! You’re right, we are often overlooked for having pretty areas dotted in and around the city! I agree, a frost really enhances that autumn colour!

Thanks kindly, Ange! I am fortunate to live in a nice little area, right on the river too. Ps. The jacket was only from Sainsbury’s! Thanks for liking 😊
