Took a few snaps of some of our acers..the mild weather has definitely encouraged them to open up beautifully. The last image of the small, albeit oldest of our acers, dissectum, has pretty little flowers all over it.

juvenile foliage always is pretty. Even the large field maples and sycamores look pretty as they open.

Lovely pictures Kate. Acers are so dainty and pretty - wish they would grow here but its too windy. The last photo was very interesting - we see many Acers on Goy but never seen one flowering before.

All looking lovely Kate, I noticed flowers on my Acer bloodgood when weeding the other day but I have had them before, as you say they do look pretty ๐Ÿ˜ will also post a pic soon ๐Ÿ˜Š

Sorry, Paul, I missed your mention of losing one to the frost! What a real shame..they are expensive trees arenโ€™t they. Pleased your other acers are thriving though!
